It is a nonsurgical, 15 to 20 minute in-office treatment session that is customized to help you achieve your treatment goals. The procedure destroys fat cells when injected into your fat. Once the aesthetic goal is achieved, re-treatment is not expected.
Kybella… How does it work?
The active ingredient in KYBELLA is deoxycholic acid: a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat, KYBELLA causes the destruction of the fat cells. Once destroyed, those cells cannot store or accumulate fat.
